Daniel Arsham (b.1980, USA) straddles the line between art and performance. Architecture is a prevalent subject throughout his work: environments with eroded walls and stairs going nowhere, landscapes where nature overrides structures, and a gentle sense of playfulness within existing architecture. Arsham’s work has been exhibited at MoMA PS1, New York; The Athens Biennale, Athens; and The New Museum, New York, among other notable institutions.
