Julian Rosefeldt

Born in 1965 in Munich, Germany, and based in Berlin, is internationally acclaimed for his complex, often multi-screen video installations. His work critically examines human alienation from nature, society, and oneself, incorporating extensive cinematic, artistic, and cultural references. Rosefeldt’s installations invite viewers into a contemplative exploration of our relationship with the world, highlighting the ongoing impact of alienation on contemporary life.
