A fighter in the Givati commando unit. On October 7, he fought to save the residents of Kibbutz Nahal Oz. Three weeks later, in a war fought to provide security for the state, Lavi was killed, together with his friend Roei Wolf, by an anti-tank missile shot at the building from which they were fighting in the northern Gaza Strip. He was twenty years old.
Lavi was a child who smiled, a boy who dreamed, and a man who made his dreams a reality. A man of action. He used every spare moment to read books, meet friends, and help anyone he could. Despite his service as a soldier in the Givati commando unit, he did not give up his passion for photography.
