Rikako Kawauchi

b. 1990, Tokyo, Japan. Rikako Kawauchi is a Tokyo-based artist who explores the unclear relationship between body and mind, or between nature and thought. Food and discomfort with the body serve as the starting points for Rikako Kawauchi’s practice, which includes a variety of media from drawing and painting to wire, rubber tubing, resin, and neon tubes.
