Side by Side: Nirit Takele and Ronit Porat

The exhibition Side by Side juxtaposed two Israeli artists – Nirit Takele and Ronit Porat. Takele creates bold large-scale figurative paintings with intricate compositions and rich coloration, inspired by her Ethiopian roots, whereas Porat creates delicate and ambivalent black & white photographic collages, primarily based on readymade images.
